National Caribbean American Heritage Month

Since 2010, RWIFO and RJO have partnered with the City of Rochester during the month of June to celebrate Caribbean-American Heritage Month (CAHM). The CAHM activities are focused on the recognition of Caribbean culture and contributions.

• Thursday June 1 - Press Conference, City Hall Atrium 10am
• Friday, June 2 - Caribbean Link Up, Taste of the Bahamas 6-9pm
• Friday, June 9 - Volunteer opportunity to serve dinnner 6-8pm
• Saturday, June 10 - Volunteer opportunity to serve breakfast 6-8am
• Thursday, June 15 - Caribbean Link Up, Side Bar 5-8pm
• Saturday, June 17 - Walk, Run, Ride and Breakfast
• Wednesday, June 21 - Film: African Redemption
• Friday, June 23 - Support iGNiTe Reggea Band
• Wednesday, June 27 - Island Style Cooking Class
• Friday, June 30 - Closing Celebration, City Hall 5:30pm - 8pm
